A quick pencil sketch or paint is fundamental to capture interesting details, fix on paper ideas and impressions, or communicate with clients and colleagues.
Additionally, being proficient in highly accurate drawing, panting and rendering is important for the Traditional Method and the structuring of Architect's professional skills.
Finally, those artistic skills merge up with technical ones, converging into "contemporary" architecture styles and into digital technologies.
The motto «innovation within tradition» literally gives an additional gear that purely modernistically trained architects do not have.

Drafting and modelling allow a great versatility to develop ideas, as they somehow offer a record of the architectural process.

Watercolour architectural renderings
Watercolour is a very quick rendering technique, much cheaper and effective than 3D renderings.
The most simple, cheap and quick solution is offered by simply coloring the very plans of the building permission, without any additional drawing required.
(compare prices VS 3D-artists).
